Transunion EE Sucess - 7.5 Months Early

I filed my BK7 in April of 2011.  I'm outside the 6 month window that posts have generally said is the TU EE window.  I *DID* happen across one post somewhere that said they were able to do it outside the 6 month window, so I figured what the heck.

I filed a direct dispute via Credit Karma at 8:39 this morning.   At 8:43 I got an email that said TU finished investigating my dispute.   I logged in, and.... Gone!  About 7.5 months early.

I know not to bother with EX or EQ this far out, but its so nice to see the end of the long credit repair journey finally in reach.  Yes, by my cards in my signature I've obviously not been suffering (credit-wise) for years, but that ceiling of 740 for a credit score was getting annoying.  I expect my TU score will jump up a few dozen points to give me a preview of what Feb 2011 might look like after a few more EE requests.  Smiley Happy

As always, thanks to the MyFico community for being a wealth of information and guidance!

Update:   Three days later, I got the MyFico alert that out dropped off my report and got a 48 point boost!

If you don't mind sharing, what did you use for the dispute reason? My ch7 is due to fall off 1/2021 and would like to try to get EE if possible

Not at all!

I picked "This public record is paid, satisfied or released."  For the additional comments, I wrote "I would greatly appreciate your consideration in removing this record as an Early Exclusion.  Thank you."

Still excited to see that 789 score!

Nicely done! I have my only TU derog set to enter the EE window on 11/1/2020 and this is tempting me to try...

Did you log into actual TU website, and get a current copy of your report to verify its gone? Also, where did you get your updated score from?
