I’m interested in the Amex BBP card but I’m nervous about the confusion and other things I might get once I do. I know about getting registered as a sole proprietorship and that’s all you have to do. Yes I sell a few things on eBay and I really do mean a few and it’s more like a $100 or less a month. Things I don’t need or use anymore.
I want it to use as my daily card because using my ED at 1x point is killing me. Is there a step by step guide that shows me what I have to do? What confuses me is once I’m registered are there separate taxes, bank accounts and other things I’ll have to open up.

if you have a good relationship with Amex already, it may be easier to get than you think. I don't know how much soend you put on your ED, or how long you've had it. But I was approved for the BBP with little fuss, and no BIZ credit.
Considering you're already a customer, it could be a SP for apping. Either way, it shouldn't ding you to try even if denied. Then you can address the reason why and take needed action to improve you chances in the future.
