I'm currently at 5/24 but still had some other cards on my radar so I applied for the BBP and got approved with a $4400 SL! I applied for this card back in March and got denied so it feels good to get accepted and to start being able to build up some business credit.

Can we get some data points on your business?
Sales?
Net Income?
Years Established?
I am thinking about starting a PT business and curious if Amex is just using personal credit for decisions for new or low income businesses.

I've been doing UberEats on/off since November 2020 and I put $2000 for annual revenue. So <1 year old and low income business got me more than double my annual revenue as a limit.

Awesome.
Thanks!

Amex approved my BBP as a sole proprietor with zero docs or income verification and less than one year in business.

IIRC I also didn't really have to provide much documentation. I provided them my financials, don't recall that I had to upload a 941 or any IRS forms ( other than EIN paperwork ).
They really base it off your personal income/score/profile and history with them. I do most of my cards as Sole Prop and as mentioned in my thread put 1500 revenue a year consulting. I also have a EIN, but rarely use it. Amex is probably the easiest business major card to get approved for.
Congratulations on your BBP approval!
Congrats on your Blue Business Plus (first business credit card)
. . . I'm looking forward to obtaining my first business card also . . . thinking about waiting until 12/2022 as I have a BoA paid CO listed only on Equifax totaling $429.00 -and- BoA or EQ won't purge until the schedule deletion date!![]()
