Bankruptcy and Chase Ink Card

I discharged a Chapter 7 bankruptcy nearly 3 years ago.  I have had a personal account and business account at Chase Bank for 2 years now.

I have been making good money in my business account, steadily growing.  My TU score is 721, I just got turned down again for a CHASE INK CARD FOR BUSINESS.  Does anyone know how long I'll be in the turtle lane waiting for them to let me have cards again?  Any sound advice would be considered relevant.....thanks in advance.  Russ

As long as you have the BK on your reports, Chase will auto decline you. You can try to recon, as others have in the past. Unfortunately, there have been recent reports that Chase will no longer recon with BK. YMMV

My 2010 BK7 was discharged 1/31/2011. I got Chase to recon my Nov. 26 app auto declined for BK on my CR. I felt the rep was going to approve me but when she put me on hold she came back and no, said I had too much recent new credit. My fault, I should thought more about that before app'ing - new car loan in Oct. and new CC in early Nov.

But 3 years post discharge is too soon for Chase. I would wait until at least 7 years when all the included in BK accounts have fallen off the credit report.

OP...can you please change the color of your wording to black? Its very hard on some peoples eyes, and I for one can't read your post entirely because I have to look away. It messes with my eyes. Thank you

Well they won't always auto decline you.  Just applied for the Southwest Business card.  Initially received 30 day notice and @8hours later checked the status and was approved $5k SL.  BK from 2010.  Already have the Chase ink from a little over a year ago.  Also have their personal Ritz and Southwest card.  Got the Southwest 1 year ago when they had a California special giving you free companion pass+ 40k miles.  Did my spend so my SUB would apply in 2018.  Will get my spend in quick on the new card for the new SUB 60k miles should get the companion pass for 2019.
