Chase Question

So I recently got the Chase Ink Cash with the $300 bonus and didn't notice they charge FTF's so I would like to use it for the bonus and get the other business card offering no FTF's and an 80k bonus sign up (probably figuring about 6 months down the road from now though).

Not sure if I'd qualify for a second business card from them they gave a 12k SL for the Cash Card. What are my options, I definitely don't want to PC because then I'd lose out on the 80k points or 1k in Travel Rewards.

Thanks for your input.

Re: Chase Question

I would be willing to split my initial 12k limit between both cards if they'd allow it and as long as I could get the 80k bonus.

Re: Chase Question

All you can do is try - If you're OK taking the HP I'd say go ahead and apply for the new card, then work on reallocating limits if you have to, or recon if you need to

Do you know if you're allowed to have multiple business cards with Chase?

Chase UWs seem to frown upon it lately, but yes, you can have multiple business cards with Chase.

(I have an old Amazon business card, the old version of the Ink, and three Ink Cash cards...)

One thing to keep in mind is that when you apply for a personal credit card with Chase, they will also see the Chase business cards.  It was denied on recon for the Chase IHG MC and one of their reasons was that I have multiple accounts.

I was going to garden... Honest!

Re: Chase Question

Is 80k the max bonus this card has ever had or have there been times where that bonus was increased to say 100k? Just curious

The Ink Business Preferred is very new, there has not been any time for different bonuses, but after March 11th it will have a 100k bonus for business-managed banking customers.

Re: Chase Question

Interesting is that a permanent thing or limited time for the 100k bonus?

I don't think anyone would be able to answer that... All lenders can change or remove sign-up bonuses really at any time so I would just watch a product that you want and see when it has a bonus that you are ok with, then go for it when you are ready.

I am definitely not a business-managed customer so that one won't ever work for me but once I am under 5/24 you bet I'd go for the 80k one.
