Citizen Bank- Should I give them a call?

Yesterday early morning (on 1/3/23)  I applied for Citizens' bank Business card. In the end, all I received a message and an email also followed later on by saying- Your application has been successfully submitted...Do you think I should give them a call? If so, do you guys have any number for them? Or should I just wait to hear from them??

Historically, most Citizens Account App's and even CLI requests are processed manually...or suffice to say...at least over a few days time.

They aren't in a rush and calling will likely not get you much either...be patient

I agree with @cashorcharge and @M_Smart007  Better to just wait. In my experience, Citizens is slow.

Re: Citizen Bank- Should I give them a call?

Ok...I just got an email to have denied my application, wherein the reason is given this one- "Lack of established earnings record or earnings insufficient for amount of credit requested". Has anyone received this reason? If so, has anyone tried to reverse it....how?

They do not reconsider or reverse denied applications. You're welcome to try and see whether they can provide more specifics on the reason for the denial.

Re: Citizen Bank- Should I give them a call?

For Business account, Citizens bank does SP? I do not see any HP from them on my credit report with Equifax...Do you think I could re-apply with them after a few months since I am just denied? Was anyone else denied before for the same reason or other reasons, and then they reapplied again after sometime? If so, how long after re-applying is allowed?

They SP EQ. You can reapply, but definitely keep in mind the reason why your application was denied. If the same conditions exist when you reapply, you'll get the same outcome. 3-6 months would seem reasonable unless you want to keep trying desperately month after month 🤷‍♂️

Thanks. Not sure what to do to overcome this denial-reason- "Lack of established earnings record or earnings insufficient for amount of credit requested"....
