How Long Between Chase Applications?

With these elevated 90,000 UR Points welcome offers on the Chase Ink cards, it is my hope to add 1 or 2 more Ink cards before they get lowered back to 75,000.  I was curious how long y'all are waiting between your Chase Card applications/approvals to get another one? I was instantly approved for the Ink Cash on December 1, 2022.

Re: How Long Between Chase Applications?

I don't know that Chase has any hard and fast rules as to how often you can apply, but fairly certain they wont approve more than two of the same type of cards (business and/or personal) in a 30 day period. With that said, of course it's going to be profile specific, but a safe strategy for the INK cards would be to apply for one every 30 days or so. I got an Ink Unlimited in December, 35 days after I was approved for the Ink Cash (my siggy not current)... I may go for the Preferred but will wait at least 6 more months. I'm more interested in getting some Auto CLIs from them.

@JoeRockhead  thank you for this info! Wow! That is so awesome! 35 days isn't a long time! So great to see that it is possible to add another Ink so soon! I was wondering if I would have to wait 3 months or even 6 months.  I'm right there with you on being interested in getting some auto CLI's from them.  The $3000 they gave me is kinda limiting. Thank you again!

@Jordan23ww my pleasure. To be honest I was surprised when I got the second approval. I felt like I was pushing my luck, but you know I just couldn't help myself when it came to applying Smiley Happy. Glad it worked out for me, nothing wrong with waiting 90 days or longer but hope it works out for you. I agree that the 3k is limiting. They gave me 8k on both, I'm hoping to grow them considerably. Those 90k subs are nice though! Best of luck to you!

@JoeRockhead  Thank you again for the info and well wishes! I understand what you mean about being surprised, or should I say pleasantly surprised. Back in 2020 I got 11 new personal accounts in 12 months along with 1 business card. I was surprised every time they said yes! Out of those 12 approvals only 2 lenders said no, Chase when I tried to apply for the Amazon Prime card 2 weeks after getting the Chase Slate Card (I later product changed that to the original Freedom) and Navy Federal when I tried to get my 2nd card, the Flagship, after having just gotten a limit increase on my More Rewards card the day before. They said I had reached my max limit/the amount the maximum amount they were willing to give me in credit at the time. They ended up approving me 3 months later for it when I applied again. For all those other banks to all say yes allowed me to go on a great run!
