US Bank Plat card experiences?

Now that Barclays has teken over GM Buss CC, I am thking I need to get a new Buss CC. I received in the mail an offer from US Bank Plat card ( a card many business owners want, but not everyone can get) to apply. I already have a US Bank Personal CC for $34k and personal and buss checking. But I dont have a Buss CC with them. My personal CC started at $5k and it has 6 years to get it to $34k. Wondering who they also pull?

What's the attraction with the plat? Their other two bus cards are cashback. One even had a $500 sub. I'm sub crazy!

Spend $4500 to get $500 sounds like a deal......I would rather do BTs

@AzCreditGuy I have the Elan version of the platinum biz visa 15k as well as the biz real rewards 22.5k. They pulled TU-9. If you don't get a large enough SL for your BT needs, you can always call underwriting and request a highter limit. It will cost you a second HP but they are very accomodating. 

My first cards with Elan were personal - 2 MCP's, 5k and 20k.

I read on the forum US Bank asks for docs when requesting over 50k. Here's the post/thread. It's an older thread so YMMV.

Thanks for the info that helps me a lot. I just had a credit spree 5 months ago with EX and TU being 2 inq and Ex being 1. I had a botched Chase Buss cc app and a wasted INQ..MY Scores are all above 747-768....Trying to see if maybe I can get a app from EX, but that may not work with US Bank

@AzCreditGuy , I wouldn't worry about inquiries, more concerned about the recent spree/new accounts.

For US Bank/Elan, I would garden a year after a spree.

Maybe BOA, FNBO or Wells at 7-8 months? Shrugs. You're guess is as good as mine.

I've noticed over the past few yrs that while banks may HP one report, they will also SP another. And some FI's continue to almost stalk your reports via Account Reviews. The days of attempting to hide credit seeking via separate reports is no longer a thing. And don't get me started with EWS (and friends), although you can learn to use it to your advantage.

TLDR: Banks know so much more about you than you think they do.

Well I applied on Friday and locked my Experian and Transunion reports.....if it doesnt fall on Equifax I can chat with the underwriter to see if I want to proceed. I'll report when I hear from them.

Called in today to get an update on my Buss app and was told my app was denied for, "not enough experience with usage". I asked if they did a HP and they said they used TU and EQ. My TU is locked and never got a alert here for EQ HP. 

My Buss has 6 credit trade lines from 2019, so I am unsure what they mean by ,"not enough experience with usage"

I am checking with EQ to see if I did get a HP for this. I can tell you even though I have a personal checking and cc and a Buss checking, US Bank has been the worst for Buss and did really expect this on the business side.  Wells and B of A have been great giving me Buss CCs. 

I think I will be closing my Buss checking account with US bank and focus on Wells for now as my main Buss checking.  I will keep the personal as is.
