Tomorrow will be exactly 6 months from my last increase on one of my cap One credit cards. Do I pull the trigger and hit the button tommorow, or do I need to wait longer?

If you're positive 180 days have passed, then pull the trigger. But if you want to be extra sure, wait until the end of the week.
IME, the LUV button would work a day or two early from the 6 calendar months. I say try it today.

With CAP 1 if you try before 6 months will you get denied?

Yes, they will only give a CLI every six months. I have never seen a HP though.. So worst case, try again
