Hi, I expect to hit 800 FICO by October (personal goal/mental guessing). I am wondering what people with 800 FICO scores even aim for as next credit card(s). I have heard of the mythical Centurion(?) card and such but really don't know their value. As someone who doesn't travel much, should I bother with a miles card because their benefits are that good to have or is there something else?
Okay, ending my rant here.
What do you all do or plan to do once your FICO reaches 800+? Everyone has goals and I'm wondering what they'll use their high credit scores to achieve/obtain!
Thank you for your opinions in advance!
I can't say for a card in your score's range, but since you don't really travel, I think a good general spend card like a Double Cash or Quicksilver would be great for your current line-up. Maybe even the Sallie Mae, but that would take away a good amount of use from your BCE.
first premier or credit one!!! j/k
Do you live in CA, WA, OR, HI or NV?
If so, the the JCB Marukai ... basically a 3% CB card

Yeah I love my BCE and it's high CL. I mean I don't mind a travel card but it has to be something that retains points for 2 years with very little travel/hotel/booking use...of which I havn't heard anything like that to exist. Thank you though for your opinion!

No I live in FL, unfortunately, that sounds nice!
Thanks for your suggestion.
They are not known for high SL and everything is done manually.

That makes sense. You can always go for the new Discover it Miles card too. 1.5 miles per $ that can be redeemed for cash as well at a 1:1 ratio (Venture and Arrival+ penalize you if you redeem for cash) on top of travel. Discover also doubles all your points earned your first year so it's essentially a 3% cashback card for a year (assuming you just use it for cash) and 1.5% afterward, making it competitive with other general cashback cards. Discover's redemption portal is generally considered in high regard and it's a pretty difficult CCC to open an account with, but I think you'd definitely have a good shot if you applied given your score.
The JCB card above is a decent one as well, but there is a $15 annual fee after the first year, which isn't back. I haven't heard much about the redemption options though. Just letting you know in case you ever move to California something and want to apply for it, haha.
