AMEX CLI question phone or online ?

Im just curious if theirs an advantage talking to a rep and explaining why you want the CLI compared to just entering the limit request online and having the system just generate a yay or nay.

I think your odds of getting a CLI are the same regardless of whether you submit the request online or over the phone.

Nope. CSR will just ignore what you say your reasons are and only ask what you would like your new limit to be and put it in. Either way the system will decide if you're approved and what your new limit will be.
