AMEX Everyday Approval

I've been itching for a new card lately. I don't really need another card, but I thought I'd open a $0 AF AMEX so it will backdate to 2013 and boost my AAoA. I was instantly approved with a lowly $2000 limit. Not very fair to my other credit limits. Should I call and ask for a recon to a higher limit? Thanks.

Congratulations! Try the 3x cli . I believe you have to wait 181 days since your last CLI on any other revolver with them though.

Can't recon Amex initial limts.. Depends if you did the 3x61 on your last amex, you might have to wait longer then the 61 days, might be 181 days or whatever day it was since your CLI from amex. remember all revolvers are considered into the same pool, so only 1 cli rule per x applies to amex.

They approved me with $2000 also, all my other credit cards are higher than that, only JCrew is lower. I can buy more than 20K on my PRG so I was expecting 3500 (as my Freedom) at least, then get a 10K card at 61 days. Anyway, if I can get the card to 6K in a couple of months is not too bad, and with SP.
