AMEX RULES for APPing

How long before I can re-apply for an AMEX after being denied? I got a letter that they could have approved me possibly but could not because I was recently denied for credit with them and the main reason was because it was auto denied because of the recent denial. 

So whats the rules for amex apping after being denied? Yes my Experian jumped up 45 points since i last got denied for the blue cash

I forget what year but one July I got turned down for the Blue Cash, December I was approved for the BCP. Both were late in the month so 5 months for me.

While useful information, that DoC post does not contain the answer to the OP's question. 

Amex will auto-decline any application (with no HP or SP) for thirty days after the first denial.

Good luck! In my case, it took only a month; however, my credit score had a big jump from June to July this year.
