Were you already an Amex card holder? I am looking at apping for 1 or 2 of the cards I am pre-qualified to.. Just wonder what % of getting 2 HP off of that? Looking at the Blue Skymiles and/or the EveryDay cards. Currently only have Visa and MC, no Amex.

It  is highly likely that you will have only 1 HP.

Yes I was already an Amex cardholder with the Blue Cash Everday, only for about 7 or 8 months.

Hi,

I was recently approved for the Amex Gold and the Everyday Blue Card( Premier).   I got approvals 1 day apart.   My everyday card was only approved for $1000 though.    Fico Credit score 670.

Did you app same day? Congrats on both new cards. My ED card was a $1k SL as well.
Not sure if I want to app for the Ble Delta or Green card still to see if HP is combined.

I applied for them 1 day apart.    I had no strategy.   I discovered this websight after I kept getting approved for everything.  lol  Then all of a sudden, it stopped.   Too many inquiries...so I'm in the garden til next summer.   But..from May to August I got 7 new credit cards!.  lol   I had a ball!   Gonna sit back and wait for my score to recover.   I lost 20 pts but it was worth it.

I have a gold card and everytime I tried to apply for a new AMEX credit card it's been all soft pulls.... once ur a member they don't hard pull you for new cards....As you can see from my signature it's been denials....I just got the gold card in January and they say I don't have enough history with them yet.....

I applied for the BCP on 8-11 and was approved with a score of 666, 1K SL and immediately applied for the Gold card but was denied. Once you are denied and try to app again they cancel / decline the application automatically. Tried recon as well also applied on the site for HH card. Does anyone know how long I would have to wait to re apply without it being an automatic denial?
