AMEX is a fickle bunch

I have had the Everyday Cash card for 9 months, I have never gone over 30% and I pay it full every month before the statements come out and they refuse to give me a CLI because of my Chapter 13.  My utilization over all my cards is below 8%.  I'm just not feeling any love from them.

I know right?  I never understood why they gave me the card in the first place with the BK still there.  When I called in all they suggested was maxing the card out as much as possible, like that's going to happen.  Guess I'll try again in May and see what happens.

I didn't get the first one with Amex either. I did however get the second one at a year. It takes them awhile to warm up but once you do you'll be happy.
I just picked up the BCE with the 10% back from Amazon and the 100$ statement credit a bit ago. Used it today and saved 210$ on a Amazon purchase. It was more than my available SL. Called them and she helped me get through pushing a payment prior to purchase so I could purchase the item.
I have 3 cards with Amex now after a year. They also gave me an auto CL on my bcp of 3000.
Like I said once they warm up they are great. I too have a 7 on my CR.

9 months isn't that long and 30% isn't that low. Give them time. Try again at 13 months and slightly lowed utilization when it post. I'm sure they'll be able to help you then!
