I'm almost positive they do not expire. You will continue to accrue until you use them.
I say almost, because policies change often. But from what I recall, Delta was one of the few that did not expire even if there was no activity. For example, my advantage miles will expire in 18 months for non activity (not that I would EVER let that happen 😂).

That's good to know. I am getting a little worried reading threads that talk about $1000 SL not getting much CLIs over time.
While certain credit behaviors are helpful (3x Amex 61 days) and somewhat consistent.......that knowledge is also a little harmful in the sense that everyone expects it. We forget that regardless of scores, incomes, spending patterns etc all profiles are different. This means we should expect different results. Instead, e focus on what so-so and so got.
Last year in July when I joined, Penfed was the RAGE! The criteria was lowered and within 90 days you could expect a HUGE CLI. So I followed the fad (it was my 3rd card). I was approved for my first CL over 5K. It was 7.5K and I was ecstatic!
But I did not get that increase in 90 days. My score was higher than most at that point and my salary is above avg....but no increase. Yes I have a BK but other BK'rs were getting huge increases. But not me. I was not happy lol. But I had to have a talk with myself to acknowledge that somehow I felt entitled because everyone else was getting it. Their profiles were not mine. So I chilled out. I kept doing the right things such as on time payments, low utility etc. A couple of months later, I got my increase.
The moral of that story is.....just take care of your account. All profiles are different. You can't expect something just because someone else is getting it or another cc company is shelling it out. The good stuff will come eventually. It really is a marathon! 😀

I really needed to hear that because you are definately right. All I can do is do right with the card and hope for the best. Nothing is promised. Hey, this may open doors for better cards with higher SLs. Sometimes I get ahead of myself instead of just enjoying the moment, although I am already planning what I will do with me reward miles.
I got an invitation for Platinum, but wanted to get 100K offer. I tried incognito with old address, searched through internet explorer, used MS edge, used firefox...... Each methoid offered me someehat different cards, different offers each time. Maybe you can try the same, if you are looking for other cards offered by Amex.
Good idea! I tried using Chrome and IE but failed to use the incognito browser.
