Keep getting Amex Delta mailiers to apply.  Why would they be sending me these, Im only 2 years post BK filing, 1.8 years discharge.  I do have a delta skymiles number so maybe thats why, but do they market any and everybody regardless of BK 7.  My EX is 671.  If i applied, will it automatically deny due to BK and not HP me?

1. Your BK doesn't disqualify you from getting the card.

2. Delta Gold is the easiest Amex card to get, and your score is probably good enough. I got the card with a similar score.

3. It's impossible to say if they are prequalifications you are getting or just marketing mailers. You might want to check Amex's prequalification site.

4. If you apply for the card, you'll probably be accepted, with a modest CL (mine was $2k).

Still debating, Ive gotten like 4 mailers, 4 emails from delta, and also 3 emails from Hilton Honors, but that could all be because Im a member of both.  My utilization is about 32% at the moment, I need to probably get that down to around 10% before I attempt, would probably make my chances more favorable.

Yea Ive heard ppl getting back in with AMEX but idk if its less than 2 years post BK though, this is what makes me hesitant.  I get nothing on prequal site either.
