AOD FCU fail

Apped and opened a savings.

Then the guy tells me I can't app for it because I'm under 21 and that's their policy. RIP.

He did say I can apply for unsecured loans, but not CCs? Asked for him to check what the maximum amount of loan I can get with UW.

Sad I can't participate in the fotm especially since this is a keeper, but I'll take what I can get.

Edit: Guy gave me an approval for 3k loan at around ~12%. Gonna do a early paydown like my SECU to build up some payoffs.

I wonder why this is. Potentially less risky for the CU? I've never heard of this before.

Looks like you have to show proof of your independent assets, if under 21 years old.

Sorry for your denial. At least it wasn't because of your credit.
