Advice on pending AmEx application

I recently went on an application spree and need some advice.

On 7-18-15 I applied and was instantly approved for the Marriott card. That same day I applied for the AmEx Gold card and it went pending. On the morning of 7-20-15 I got the approval email. Since AmEx combines pulls I went ahead and applied for the EveryDay Preffered, went to pending, called recon and was approved.

Today I got the 50,000 MR points offer to show up for the PRG so I went ahead and applied, went to pending, called recon and got approved. Thinking about combining pulls again I applied for the EveryDay card and went pending. When I called AmEx I was told "You have a lot of recent applications so it got flagged and your application is being reviewed, we don't need any more information at this time. We will contact you in 7-10 days with a decision." I asked if an additional hard pull would be needed and I was told it wouldn't. I'm concerned that once the application is reviewed in a few days another hard pull will be done, and I really dont wan't another hard pull, especially considering I only applied for the EveryDay for an easy 10,000 MR points. Should I trust the CSR that no pull will be done and wait for a decision or cancel my application?

My current stats: FICO 725 as of 7-18-15

AAoA 1.2 yrs

Util 20%

Any advice is appreciated!

First of all if declined. it will mostly be Sp. But why would you apply for 2 revolvers and 2 Charge Cards?. So im afraid. some of the latter ones will be hps They don't always make it 1 hp. its always a ymmv. Not only are you killing your AAoA. but your internal score with Amex.

Re: Advice on pending AmEx application

I applied for the MR points so I could transfer them before the Avios devaluation. I don't plan on getting another card until February or so, so I'm not too worried about my AAoA. And I won't get another AmEx for at least a year. How am I killing my internal score with amex if PIF every month?

Aggressively seeking credit doesn't mean you're going to misuse as soon as they arrive, it could be after the holidays. That's how they write protections for no history. I woulda done just the two, and jumped for joy with 3. You do have value arguing trying to nail some travel incentives before you miss out, they should understand that part. A conversation circling around aspect will probably get you out of hot water as you go under microscope..
