Advise On Credit Card App

Ok I have been in the Garden for about 22 months.  I just refinanced my Student loans this month with Sofi (Sofi Great Experience)  and paid down most of my Credit Card debt.  I am looking to get one or two more cards preferably Balance Transfer or long 0% APR to help with the rest of the balances I have and to Carry some plane tickets I am about to buy for about a year with no interest.  The tickets will cost about 5500 of which I will pay off 2000 right off the bat.

My score according to Discover is a 744 and my credit file is long over 12 years.

I have two cards with Case a Freedom and a Amazon both with only $500.  I have never asked them for an increase they are my primary bank and I carry a large checking account with them.  I owe nothing on these two cards.

I have a Discover IT with 17K limit about 5K owed it is my everyday use but I will probably be changing that soon.

I have a Citi Simplicity 9k zero Balance I just paid 6k off this two days ago.  With Citi I also have a Home Depot card 2k limit with about $100 dollars on it.

I have two Capital One cards that I just use for overseas trips the Platinum Mastercard (just upgraded to a Quicksilver rewards) with a $7000 Limit and Quicksilver (Just upgraded to Venture One) with $5000 limit nothing on either card.

I have a Bank of Americard with a 1000 Limit this one has about $600 on it.

I have two US Bank Cards one with a $7000 limit that has about $400 on it and one that has a $8000 Limit that has about $200 on it.

The Chase cards are my oldest I should have waited to app with them they are low limits so I never use them.  I make around 145K a year and currently live in a corporate housing area due to my job and travel.  Any and All Advice is recommend.  I have one Hard pull in Jan for Student Loan Refi and one Nov 2016 for Car Loan.  I will like to pick up two cards maybe 3 to help raise my limits.  My family and I have been invited to spend a month in South Africa with some co-workers this summer and that is the plane tickets I will be buying.  Will pay them off with next years Tax return.  I would use this years but wife still has some dental work that needs to be taken care of.  My Citi card statement should post next week hopefully then it will take my utilization way down.

Edited to hopefully make easier to read

Re: Advise On Credit Card App

Simple.  Since you already have a banking relationship with Chase go in to your local branch and talk to a personal banker about either a Chase Sapphire Preferred or Chase Sapphire Reserve.  The personal banker will also be able to look in his system and tell you if you're pre-approved for either of these cards or any other Chase credit products.  I'd suggest the Sapphire Reserve; your scores and income support it.  Alternatively, go to Check for Prequalified Credit Card Offers and enter your information and see which Chase cards you're pre-qualified for.  Just note that an in-bank preapproval carries more weight than an online prequalification.

That is deffinalty an option on one of them but does not help with the Zero APR for a few months.

Re: Advise On Credit Card App

Well...take a look at the credit cards offered by a credit union like PenFed (you don't have to be military affiliated to become a member of PenFed; just make a small contribution to one of two suggested charities).  They offer excellent BT and %0 APR deals; your income and scores will get you a generous credit line.  PenFed will hard pull Equifax only, and you can use that pull for 60-90 days to apply for credit products in addition to qualifying for membership.

P.S.  Its difficult to figure out what you're actually asking with the wall of text you wrote.

Re: Advise On Credit Card App

Another suggestion would be the Chase Slate card which is essentially their BT card.  And since you have a pre-existing relationship with Chase it shouldn't be hard to get. Again, talk to your personal banker.

I didn't think you were rude; its just that the amount of text without paragraph breaks in your original post made it hard to read.

Re: Advise On Credit Card App

I would add that to lower your credit utilization even more, ask Chase to raise those low CLs you have on your current two cards with them. With your stats, they should go up significantly.

Look at my post "Another Platinum to Quicksilver Upgrade". I did it yesterday and it's an absolute breeze and an SP.

Re: Advise On Credit Card App

You should also be able to check online if they have any upgrade offers available for you. There is a thread that talks about their online upgrade process.
