ETA: I forgot to mention their max mobile deposit of $50k.
Insane!
Did I hear somebody say ATM deposits? <peeks around corner>
That's the only area NFCU (and USAA) fall short IMO. If either would figure out a way to make ATM deposits "work" they would be 'perfect', at least for me.
(I know NFCU does to an extent, but a five-day hold for cash is a bit extreme.)

Yeah that was a deal breaker for me as far as the banking side of NFCU. Five day hold on ATM cash deposits is absurd. When Alliant credited my ATM cash deposit at a SHARE branch immediately at 9 pm I was floored. They have won my savings and checking business hands down.
This is a great feature of BECU as well, for those who qualify to join. My mobile deposits (completed by taking a photo of the check) show in my BECU account immediately, even though the actual check takes around 3 days to clear from my actual bank on their end. Love BECU!
With Alliant mobile deposit, it does get credited right away as well, but I have found several technical issues with Alliant's system recognizing the photo - their system does not always recognize the picture, so I've had to do several re-takes.
Here is my contribution to the thread
Back in early part of May 2016 I joined ACU. At the time I did not receive any offers for credit, nor did I apply for anything other than membership.
Membership approval was super quick and easy.
Few weeks after I joined, cold applied for their VISA Platinum with rewards. Requested 15K limit and 2 days later I was approved.
FICO scores at the time were about 700 across the board.
3% util
2.9 intro APR for 12 months, and 14.49 after intro period.
They did not request any additional docs from me for the CC.
Similiar results for me. Asked for 10k on application, got the approval phone call verfying ID, and a 15k SL, 12.49 %.. No proof of income mentioned, EQ was 756 w seven inquires. Follow-up call a week later, saying i was eligible/approved for auto refi on initial CR pull. Very pleased with Alliant.
Have had a Savings account with Alliant.
Recently I added both checking as well as a 60 month Installment loan, which I have already paid down below 10%.
Looking forward to applying for a CC, but my understanding is that on occasion they offer "Bonus" points, so I am waiting until that promo to apply.
So for only SP's for all of the above, but I will keep watching. And installment loan should report in ~ ten days, so that should be interesting to assess its impact.
