Alliant Credit Union - Data Points

Didn't get the luv from ACU today. Received offer for credit card so apped, declined and waiting for letter. Would NOT have applied without getting their offer. For me, it'sNFCU, 2 CC, 1 auto loan and 1 personal loan, no problem

ACU CCs kinda suck. Curious why you want one? Is it to start a relationship for possible loans in the future?

Thanks for sharing.  Alliant doesn't appear to like those (me) with a ton of credit.  Denied twice for sufficient credit.  They'll join my list with DCU and NASA

Alliant is more known for their banking and shared secured loans and not so much their credit cards. They are very conservative when it comes to their cards.

In fact I won't waste a hp apping one. If they send me one of their sweet preapproval for a 30k or 50k signup bonus on a card I'll bite. But, that's about it. 12 have you joined Western? I'm a member and will probably app their low APR card next year.
