Re: Alliant Credit Union - Data Points

I joined  Alliant credit Union on July 30, they Sent me a new member package, received in the mail today, gave me $50 "dividend" for opening a checking account with .65% APY on checking (the highest I've seen on checking with no minimum balance) and I received an email from a loan officer yesterday morning saying they approved my rewards Visa for $10K at $5.99% for 12 months. I requested $10K so they approved whatever I requested.

They pulled Equifax-still hasn't showed up-must be a soft pull!

Alliant paid the $5 membership fee for me by depositing it in savings but you can't use it.

EQ Fico 08 720

BK discharged 6/12

28 positive accounts

no lates, nothing else besides the BK

4 new credit cards 4 months ago

2 INQ in the last 15 months not counting Alliant possible 3 if Penfed pulled credit before-I applied for Alliant just before Penfed.

3 car loans 2 paid in full. One current Lease with Mercedes Financial Services.

20 current credit cards aquired in the past 4 years.

Thanks for taking the time! I just signed up with them last month. I also did shared secured loan. It was reported on the 31st of May And showed up on the reports around the 4th of June.

What's the time frame on these quarterly soft pulls?
When is the next one due to hit? Anyone know

Their shared secured loan is awesome for those that do not have any installment loans reporting. Smiley Wink

Baller................. Should I ??????? Could I get their max too????????

LMAO cameron you're a hot mess! Smiley LOL Hey go for it. Sp on EQ to join. And some have reported sp for cc too. They are more conservative than Penfed WAS and NFCU. But, definitely a good CU.

Ohhh yeah I forgot. Ok, you are good to go now! Did you talk directly to a LO for your CC app. That's the highest Alliant SL I have seen.
