Alliant Credit card application wait time

I apped for the platinum card on the 26th of June and I have heard nothing.

They pulled TU that day.

I have sent messages and also uploaded POI documents just in case.

During past applications with Alliant I have received a call from a LO within a few days.

This one, i'm getting Nada.

When I check on the app it says that it is being reviewed.

There IS a disclosure available that tells me that my Equifax is frozen, but no request to lift it.

I asked for $25,000.

Any thoughts?

They are a sensitive bunch there so I am not wanting to tickle their belly too long

Guessing they might of tried to SP your EQ and weren't able to?  Trying to avoid a call with them as certainly you should of heard something from them by now

We are thinking alike.

I figure that i'm on the edge of approval on this one.

I think it will ultimately be denied for obvious reasons, but I was hoping for a counter offer

You might need to contact them directly. I recall at one point when I requested a CLI that the CLI application got stuck since my EQ file was split and there was an issue / error on their back end.

Conversely, they pulled TU and EX, which they eventually reversed (without me asking). The process took about a week. So, if EQ is frozen that might be the issue. They will not explicitly state to unfreeze via the online status form.

Along with 1/2 the other forums population.. EQ needs to really get their act together what is really annoying about it is it has been an issue for tons of years and the dont openly acknowledge it unless you bring it up to them and then they say it looks fine to them the you gotta get in contact with the EO to get the dang thing fixed.. Rinse and repeat a few times a year.... SO annoying

EQ needs to really get their act together what is really annoying about it is it has been an issue for tons of years and the dont openly acknowledge it unless you bring it up to them and then they say it looks fine to them the you gotta get in contact with the EO to get the dang thing fixed.. Rinse and repeat a few times a year.... SO annoying

I have had a CU pull and get told that no file exists and then pull again while I’m on the phone and have success.

I could hear the quizzical looks over the phone.

I called into Alliant and stayed on hold for 20 minutes before I gave up.

I think they’re a tad busy today....

Not unusual for their hold times during peak hours.  However, I found them to be very helpful when dealing with them.  I think the longest I waited was around 30 minutes (while multitasking).

Finally got through this afternoon.

The loan officer said that when they pulled TU on 6-25 that they received an error code that they had never seen before.

i know I had received a HP that day.

This is getting confusing.

Anyway I pulled it off high center. Expect the denial sometime in the next 48 hrs😂
