Thanks CH. We'll see. I have so many inq's it really didn't matter to app or not. They don't do instant pulls apparently. I think they will pull EQ tomorrow.
Does anyone know if Alliant will use the same HP if done within 30 days?

That was my experience last time I applied. Got the pull the next day along with an email from LO denying me haha ![]()
I don't see the comment section...

It's when you click the box "rate this application"
It's after you complete the application
I think I'm going to wait and see what happens to you. Dealing with POI is a p.i.t.a being self employed......
i've had zero luck with alliant credit applications over the past 2 years. ive never received an email like that either haha.
I received the same offer and I'm curious also, I began filling out the application and caught myself ( I just entered my second month of gardening). I noticed there was no set APR and wonder if it's a real preapproval or just marketing. I never applied for one of their cards before. However, I did apply for two auto loans and both were approved pending POI. I found better offers from NFCU and my local CU in both cases and went that route. I think I will pass on this one but, if they make this offer the same time next year, I will go for it. I like the 18 monts 0%. I will be watching and wish you good luck.
P.S. this was my first offer from them after two years of membership, maybe they're trying to compete with NFCU and PenFed which would be great for MyFicoers
I got locked out of my account and had to call Alliant. the rep said I see that you have a promotion on your account for a visa. I explained that I already applied. I asked if they use the same HP within 30 days and she said yes. I was just denied on 7/11/16 so very likely that this will be denied. She said this is a preapproval based off a SP but she couldn't tell me when the SP was done. She said, as we all know, once you apply then they review your full credit file. She emailed the loan officer to let him know that I have an existing HP that is good for another week. She said these are targeted offers based on the SP that you meet/met certain criteria at that time. Worse case scenario I'm denied and no new HP.
