clicked the CLI button on Amex website. quickly got an email saying they made a decision, but everytime i enter the info they ask, i get the below messaging. any ideas on why this is happening or how else i can check?
"Sorry, your application cannot be accessed. Please try again later."

I have the same problem, which is really annoying.
Either call or wait for the mail. I'd call since they give you more info that way
I'd try calling. The site has a lot of hang ups with recent updates. Very annoying!! 😒
You can try the check status link too - maybe you'll see something there.

Another thing to consider, if your CL does not appear to have changed, it's likely the request did not go through.
I would contact them to see if they can provide any insight.

I've always got the 7-10 message but I've never received an email or letter about outcome. It also doesn't show when I try to check status. Wonder if that means it never went through and I'm still eligible to request.
Did me the same way everytime I asked for a CLI. I think its a glitch in the system but it ends up being a denial
