I was recently denied for the Amazon Chase card when I for sure thought I would get it based on other cards recently acquired.
I got my letter and it said that I owed Chase Bank money. Anyone know how to figure out who to call to settle this so it won't be an issue with any chase cards in the future?
Thanks,
Dustin
Possibly this #? Chase: 888-609-7805 (CC lending Dept) and they might be able to tell you if it is a CC debt you owe or an overdrawn bank account? Explain your denial reason on letter and maybe they can point you in correct direction.

Is the collection on your credit report? Usually you can get a number of who holds the collection or at least the name. Then you can just google the name of the company to pay it
No it's REALLY old. Going to call them and see.
I am sorry that they denied you.
Dont let it get to you.
Thanks
Mark
It's possible you defaulted on something years and years ago with another bank that was subsequently acquired by Chase. They will and do deny for this.
