This! Start with your Lexis Nexis consumer report as it's (sometimes unfortunately) often considered as a Source of Truth and errors can propogate to both major and minor CRAs.

Yes, that is all sorted out w/ SageStream. That wasn't what I was asking about.
My question had to do with the 6 month wait and what (if anything) I might do to avoid it. E.g., recon or something.
@goldfishin wrote:The only state reason for my denial was: "Credit Bureau reports different address on file." (I moved about 3–4 months ago and had used my new address.)
My understanding is that Synchrony typically doesn't do recons, except possibly in cases like mine where the reason for rejection has to do with identity verification. When I called in, however, the rep said it just couldn't be done. Is there some trick to asking for a recon? I've seen other posts that report both successful and unsucessful recons.
@goldfishin You're asking how long to wait to reapply? The results would be the same for denial NO MATTER when you decide to reapply...
The first application was denied for "Credit Bureau reports different address on file." The second application was denied because it was a "duplicate".
What was your method of verification that the address issue was corrected?

It's been clarified further upthread. It's not just SageStream/Innovis, it's any data discrepancies that can be usually detected based on what other reporting agencies may have on record. So, if you haven't checked LexisNexis, I would suggest doing so.
If everything checks out and find that your name (including any aliases)/addresses, phone number, etc., are correct across all reporting sources, then you can try reapplying after 30 days from the last application submitted. If corrections need to be made, then make sure to allow sufficient time for such corrections to be updated before you reapply.
