Amazon credit limit increase button

My Amazon credit card was secured and now it is unsecured, spoke to chat and told me that if i want a increase to my limit that i would have to go through chat, there is no button to request a limit increase, has any one heard of that?

Nope.  Just took a quick peek at my Synchrony page and it has a "request a credit increase" link on it.

Perhaps there's no CLI button on @Cowboys4Life's account due to the accounts status of formerly being secured.

If that's the case, it seems like there's no harm in applying for a CLI through chat.

I have no experience with a secured Amazon card, but I don't think that's right. Once it's unsecured, it's just a regular account, right? So why wouldn't they give you the standard CLI button? It's almost like they're continuing to penalize you for having needed a secured card at one point, but that's not how it should work, at least in my eyes.

Did they give you the choice to deny it becoming unsecured or was it automatic?

Re: Amazon credit limit increase button

I spoke to some one on the phone and she told me that my card just got unsecured that the increase button will show up just to give it time, weird.

Re: Amazon credit limit increase button

@razzy116 Actually its not wierd... its kinda normal that there usually is a gap between becoming unsecured and being eligible for a self-initiated CLI .... and its not only this card that does it. Also The Secured Amazon card is a Sync card if i recall... and this is typical behavior for Sync cards as well..
