American Express App Pending again!

I applied for Blue Everyday about 4 weeks ago and was denied for a BK showing on my credit report.

I do have an account that is listed on my credit report included in a BK but no actual BK on my report and the account was a joint account and I was not primary.

I have never gotten anymore with calling before so I typed out a letter to them stating my long history with Amex as AU and the system picking up the bk but it's really just an account and even that bank as they can view on my credit report as issued me individual accounts since the bk account so that proves that it's settled.

it's been nearly 2 weeks since I sent the letter and just checking status now it shows that its "In Review" again!!!

I'm not totally holding my breath on it but I am crossing my fingers and toes!!

How far back does your MSD go?

That'll definitely help out your AAoA and give you some more cushion in your applications/approvals for next week

Thanks for sharing.....I'm in same situation and was declined for Everyday card and green charge card couple weeks ago. I did spoke with someone from EO and he explained that Amex is not BK friendly and he would prefer I should wait until I hit the 700 score and reapply after 30 days. I hope the letter you mailed help and get you approve.
