It's not super common, but sometimes when you call to reconsider a denial, additional pulls do happen. You are asking the creditor to review your info again and the HP is permissible. Many will just use the previously done HP but there's nothing saying they cannot do another pull if they decide they want to. It is annoying, but not much one can do about it since you are asking for the recon.

All of my collection accounts are open and unpaid.
2 are from 2011 ( $2117) they fall off in January of 2018.
1 is from 2015 ($1555) liability removed though but still on report.
1 is from 2016 ($670). Currently in talks to PFD on this one with the collection agency.
Shadowfactor, It looks like you can almost see the light at the other end of the tunnel if you can just clear some of this. I would just pay the $670 no matter how painful. I had a similar collection and just biting the bullet and paying it was one of the best things I ever did. It got me unstuck. On the $1,555, have you tried disputing it multiple times? I would dispute that, then again, then again, then again, seeing if you can shake them off your tail as you have removed your liability on it...which should be the basis of your disputes. Then you just wait for the old one to fall off in the new year.
I would be inclined to try a dispute using the manual method since you already tried a few times thru CK. There is a very simple form you can send into TU. Maybe google Transunion dispute form. The TU address is on the form. Maybe you will have better luck with manual plus the creditor now has a notation in their files that they have removed liability and no longer pursuing collection so they may not respond this time. It's worth a try. It's about going over or under or to the side or other side, and a few times. Try to shake them off. They only have to mess up once and miss the deadline to respond. Plus it sounds like you have a valid claim to have it removed and they now realize they have a weak claim.
If you feel it's true and can justify it, maybe say on the form its not your debt and even creditor has stated (on such and such a date) that you have no liability for the debt.
