No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I don't see it mentioned above but a $1000 limit from Amex usually means you barely met the minimum approval criteria and many will be stuck at $1000 for years.
The low limit on the Gold card also supports this. However your highest card is only st $4k so I'm not sure why you are so upset with Amex. It seems they are treating you similar to other lenders.

You're right. If you can't freely use the Gold card, which is the reason I'm assuming you got the card in the first place and you're paying a hefty annual fee, then there's no point in holding on to it.
You did say that there's going to be a review and August is here. So, perhaps wait? Then go from there?
What about Capital on Tap? Try them. They don't do a hard pull on your personal credit either but they do pull your Business Experian report.
Never heard of capital on tap, right now I just use my discover or Citi for large restaurant purchases or DWs apple. And yeah they can cap you if they feel you won't be able to repay... from no preset spending limit to whatever they feel like is safe.
Try them. Use the drop down tab for the US. You have nothing to lose. Capital On Tap
While I appreciate the advice, 2% back is not worth applying for a new card plus I'm sort of gardening for inquiries right now. I already have my citi for 2% and disco 5% rotating might try chase out again once my inq drop off
This was a recommendation for a Business Card, in reference to your posts. You probably did not fully check out the link.
