Amex CLI

Hey guys. Long time lurker first time poster. I applied and got the BCP back in July of this year,  and in September i applied and got the hilton honors card. The 90 days for the bcp is up and I tried to get a CLI on it but was told by the rep that because I opened a second account before the 90 days was up for the bcp, I'm not eligible for the 90 day 3x CLI. I looked everywhere and did not find any info on this specific scenario. Dont really known if this is a new thing Amex is doing or not.  So if you guys are hoping to get a 90 3X CLI on your first amex card. Don't apply for a second card in that 90 day period.

you need to just wait for the button to show up on your online profile, just check everyday and click it if it's there.

it may very well be 90 days from the opening of the second card, but it also may not be and it might just be 91-110 days from the opening of the first card.

also hilton honors business or personal?

if business, even sole prop, CLI timers and cooldowns even after rejections or bank statement requests can differ between personal and business

Re: Amex CLI

Welcome @kodiak014  to My FICO.

Thanks for posting.
So essentially,  getting that second card before the 90 days is the equivalent or in lieu of a credit line increase against the first card.

Can you share the starting lines of the BCP and HH ?
