Amex Delta Gold 3x CLI time?

So i've hard this card for 60 days as of today. Tomorrow is day 61 and like a kid the night before Disneyland, I cannot wait for tomorrow. Except, unlike the night before Disneyland, I was never disappointed the next day by not getting to go.

My question is, what do you guys think my odds are with getting the 3xcli?

About me, my scores are EQ648, TU655, EX646

I had the 30k sign up and a SL of 1k.

My current miles are 34k. I'm guessing that means I have put and paid off over 4k as my current balance is $-47.(I over paid)

Not sure if my other cards make a difference but they are as follows.

Discover: 2k

Amazon Store Card: 1k

Credit One: 450

Cap1: 300

The Experian score is the one that will matter for Amex.  To be honest, the odds are not great with your EX score, but please don't let that discourage you from trying.  Give it a shot and ask for $3,000 tomorrow.  The worst that can happen is that they say no and your counter resets for another 91 days.  That's 91 more days to show them responsible use of the card and to try to improve on your scores.  Best of luck!

I agree with K in Boston.

Your EX score being 646 is not high enough. My guess is that you will be denied for FICO Score.

I was in the exact same situation and I believe my score was 647 as well. SL was 2K. Denied for FICO Score.

I would definitely try though unless you plan on seeing a major score increase in the next 75 days. Then it might be advisable to wait.

I tried again at 180ish days and was only given a CLI of 1K. I hadn’t been using any of my Amex cards for the past 3 months before asking for the CLI since I was overseas. Maybe 50-60 bucks each on my Delta and PRG.

Just applied for the ED and was given a 6.6K SL so once you build some history Amex will show you love

Well, just tried it. The response....

Your request for a line of credit increase has been submitted.  You will receive a written response within 7-10 days.

You can always give them a call and most likely get the results of that 7-10 day message.

Both times that I have gotten that. It’s been an auto denial for eligiblability or a denial for credit based reasons.

You can call and find out. Amex is very slow about sending the letters out

If its a denial is there a way to appeal their decision? 

Do you call the regular "Amex contact us" number?

I'm not familiar with appealing this.  It doesnt hurt to call get the reasons for denial now and prepare yourself for the next time your eligible.  Also ask the CSR the exact date for when your next eligible to request one.

No need to call.  When you get the email from Amex telling you to call, just look for the reference number and enter it on this page:

I've not really seen any good data points of successful reconsiderations with Amex CLIs.
