Thanks Aduke! My current EXP fico scores are around 690. Im not sure if this was a HP or soft since im already a member with amex. My main reason for stepping out and applying with them was last year I recieved a "borderline" approval with them on my BCE of $1k. And have only recieved 1 credit line increase of $1.k. My scores then where around 640 ish and I had several negs reporting. So with gathering all the valuable information from this forum and a little patience I decided to reapp and this time around recieved the sucess originally I had seeked before.

I know a denial is SP for Amex holders, but have also seen people reporting approvals being SP as well for additional Amex cards.

Stiill no sign of a HP so looks like Im in the clear 
Another question on topic: How many amex applications are you allowed in lets say a 30 day time frame? And is there a limit to how many cards they will allow you at one given time?
