Hey everyone!
I checked today for pre approvals on my Amex account ( currently have Amex delta platinum) and saw I was Pre- Approved for the Amex Gold! Does anyone know how long these pre-approvals last? I was just approved for the IHG card from chase so I'm working on that sign up bonus so I don't want to get the Amex gold at this time as I would be spending wayyyy more than I normally would to meet the sign up bonuses at the same time.
Also, since it's a pre-approval would it be a hard pull or soft pull in my credit report? I was part of the T-mobile data breach so all of my credit files are frozen so would I need to unfreeze them when I applied for the Gold? Which report does Amex usually pull?
