Amex PRG SUB Question

Hello all, 

I just got approved for the Amex PRG with the 50k MR sign up bonus via Incognito mode. 

Upon approval I added the card to my account immediately. While revewing everything I can't find a mention of the 50k bonus anywhere including the card member agreemant. 

I also don't see the MR box to the right when you first login and when I manually enter the MR site it states: "We’re sorry, but your Card is currently not enrolled in the Membership Rewards program".

I'm wondering if this is normal until I receive my card and start charging? Or should I be worried and call them up.

You should be getting the 50k.  Why don't you start a chat and ask them.

You should be getting the 50k.  Why don't you start a chat and ask them.

For some reason my chat wouldn't work. I would just get a loading "circle" animation indefinetly.

I gave them a call just now, he stated it could take up to 72 hours to be enrolled in the MR program as it's done seperately from actually being enrolled for the CC. 

He did mention he sees the 50k bonus code applied to the account once the 2k spend is met. So all is good. 

Lesson learned... patience.

I also got the 50k SUB and there was never any mention of it beyond the initial application. Eventually I did get an email about a month after being approved that I would recieve 50k MR points after a $2k spend.

In short, you’ll be fine, nothing to worry about— seems to be standard for Amex.

It never listed it for me and I have had both the AMEX Green (with 25K bonus) and my upgraded AMEX PRG (with 40K bonus). I was a little worried like you were when I upgraded my Green to PRG because I knew getting large upgrade bonuses were rare so I called and asked and they were able to confirm that they saw it on my account.

Just call and ask them to confirm what bonus you have on your card. They are always more than willing to let you know.
