No problem.. You will be fine with Amex if that is the card you want. Go for it. Don't be scared... Now with Captial One, it will be a triple pull so if Amex is your main preference , then go for Amex and then think of Capital One later...
Thank you, I noticed that this morning. I am sort of considering canceling my cards with them. But will decide that later. Amex has been my "I've done well card" so it's probably the one I will go for. I get things in the mail all the time for Chase and Citi, might be worth doing Amex and Chase at the same time in hopes of just one hit? Thanks to your help, I just might go for it.
If you apply for both Amex and Chase, it will be different inquiries since they are different companies. With Chase, there is a new rule of if 5 new accounts in the last 2 years then an automatic denial. Although, Chase isn't adhering to this rule strictly, go for the Amex card first before anything else.
I sort of suspected that. Thanks for the input.
You are welcome... Now, when you do the needful, do update as I am curious also to the starting limit should you get approved.
Approved for a 2000.00 limit, not high but, I have an Amex card!!!! Thank you for encouraging me. I hope they increase like my other cards have
Yes, yes, yes, That is a decent limit but it will grow with you in little time. In 61 days, you are looking at a limit of $6,000.. So don't worry too much about it. There have been some reports of people getting approved for a CLI once the card is activated and requesting it.
Enjoy it and good job!! You did it..
