Amex SP application process

Don't know if this is the right forum.....

As a delta member since Feb 2015.....How many SP applications can be submitted before Amex decideds to do a HP?

Been denied every application since Delta was approved (including the NPSL filed at same time Delta was approved).

Just curious.....5, 10, 15, 20 etc.

An existing customer applying for a new card/line of credit will always be a SP. It's a HP only if approved.

With that being said,

I believe AMEX doesn't like multiple applications in the same 30-day window.

While generally it's true that it will be an SP if denied, that is not always the case.  We've had multiple reports over time that a denial resulted in a HP for an existing card holder.

OP, Please put these types of questions in the correct forum.  This section is for approvals.

No saying when they will HP you for an application that has been denied. Usually its a SP but there have been multiple reports of a denial with HP
