Why didn't you wait 6 months at least? Lol...6-7 months is the general rule of thumb here on these forums and it seems to work out for many.
It could be taking so long because it's the weekend and less people working to review your app. (Especially on a holiday weekend)

If your credit profile improves they won't ask for anything next time. It's just you have a shorter or weaker profile than they would like. Chances are, no (depending on how long you wait).
