The co-branded cards like Delta and Hilton usually require at least a 641 EX8. Charge cards are around 645. I've never been pre-qualified for any of mine and got approved at 625 and 641 respectively, but I have no idea how your reports compare to mine. Getting above a 680 will reduce the chances you get stuck with a low starting or charge limit and you should prequalify for their core revolvers.
Thank you all Iam so disappointed, I should've waited abit longer amd not applied 😩 . I lost 7 points and now experian is showing a fair score unlike the others showing Good! Ughh Im so mad! Should've known better! Ive been working really hard to get my scores into Good standing and this happens!!
You may want to consider taking 30-minutes to recon the AmEx denial; however, be sure to have the CSR that you're trying and hoping to avoid a second HP merely by having called the recon line: (800) 567-1083
You'll want to prepare yourself to be as nice as you can be during your recon call. I was completely surprised that AmEx approved me for the Gold card with the same scores you have, but I also waited for five-years and one-month post-BK before I applied. Waiting was the hardest part of all of this for me. Frankly, I wouldn't blame myself if I were you as you did what I would have done. If the recon doesn't work, then consider waiting 61-months from your BK discharge, and continue checking the pre-approved page. Best of luck!! We're all hoping to see you get approved
