I just logged into both my mobile app (and then the online website to confirm) and this popped up:
Are these solid offers? My inclination from everything I know is that they should be. A little background though:
From everything I've read, it seems that the CFF or CFU are ideal companion cards to carry with the CSP in so far as the point transfer game is concerned.
1) Should I bother applying and if so, is this as close to a slam dunk as it gets?
2) If I do apply, any recommendations as to which? I don't know why I'd bother with the United or Southwest card; Already a premier silver member on United anyway.
3) Should I pay off the small balance on my CSP before applying?
4) I've been pretty happy gardening and letting my scores gradually go up. While I don't "need" the extra card, I'd probably use it in lieu of others I have because of the benefits it provides in conjunction with my other Chase card. Things have been going steadily well over the past few years and I don't want to unnecessarily "poke the bear".
Thanks in advance.

Side note - I froze my credit. I'm assuming I'd have to temporarily unfreeze it if I go ahead with this?

Speaking as someone who POKED the chase bear WAY too quickly and lost... (2 yrs ago)
You've had the CSP over 6 months. You're under 5/24, even with this card you'll just be at 5/24, and... did you get the CSP without recon? Or did you have to recon to get the CSP?
You are *PROBABLY* fine. If you WANT the CFU, get it. It's a great card. When I poked them, I was OVER 5/24 and had my card three or four months. Dumb decision. You're PROBABLY fine.
I got the CSP first shot without a recon. $9900 on the CL

Congratulations on being targeted for these offers! I can't wait to start getting these targeted offers someday! I've had my Chase Freedom 17 months but I never get offers like these. I'm over 5/24 though which I think is why. I'm 11/24 right now!😬
I think you have great odds of being approved for whichever one you choose! I've heard once you apply the other offers disappear so I guess make sure you go after the one you want the most!

- I picked up a new Chase Sapphire card this last December 2020
- Got another card with my credit union this past March
- Right now I'm at 4/24, with respect to Chase' 5/24 rule
- 3 baddies from 7 years ago set to fall off this Nov-Dec

1) Should I bother applying and if so, is this as close to a slam dunk as it gets? You are definitely already pre-approved, so technically yes.
2) If I do apply, any recommendations as to which? I don't know why I'd bother with the United or Southwest card; Already a premier silver member on United anyway. You need to decide which of those 4 will be of benefit to you in the long run. So, you'll need to do some math and see what other CCs you already have to avoid redundancy and since you already have CSP, decide whether CFF or CFU (not both) will align with your spending to maximize UR redemptions.
3) Should I pay off the small balance on my CSP before applying? Not necessary
You won't necessarily poke the bear, especially since CSP is past the 6-month mark, unless you go on another spree (not recommended). That said, decide soon because these offers disappear quickly.
Thanks in advance.
All of the 4 that display as green stars/"you're already approved" are solid offers and can bypass the 5/24 restriction. That said, since it appears you're below that threshold, you should be ok.

The offers can display at any given time. I was greater than your 11/24, and received offers for both personal and business cards (mine were black star offers, similar to the above), which I took given this is the only method (aside from a branch pre-approved offer) to bypass 5/24.
Who they target is still a mystery, though.

Yes they're for real. Very real. If you apply for any one of them you are very very likely to be approved.

Of course.

Then you're probably 100% fine and can go for it. CFU is a GREAT card. I wish I had been a little less app-spree-happy between AR and CFU. I'd probably have BOTH right now, instead of neither.
