This time , i did get that survey, but just put dont contact me. Im sure they would have called, but honestly, i just didnt want to go through the im doing great credit wise , in doing this, that, and then being hit with the yes yes you are doing great, we just want to see some history la di da, been there done that. I really dont mind having to earn my way through the ranks what i dont like is being told one thing, you go out and do that and it still has no meaning , thats what i dont like. And to think with all the money they have coming in they cant even wxtend me 500 bucks more at least to say thanks for using our credit card wisely. No thanks. But anyway, ill just have to see where i am in 2 years lol

Wow FicoFuel, your nextgen score looks good i hope you get it when you decide to try again. I was like that with Discover , 5 tries to get in, 6 hps. I honestly dont think ill ever use another hp for this card. If they were to auto im not going to say no but its not like im getting rewards back or anything so i guess sometimes you have to find silver linings where dark skies exsist. When it does come time to actually start reducing my cc's itll be alot easier to let go a 500 card than a 5k one

Well, I'll contribute, if only to give you a positive spin on your $500 CL. When I applied for a card they turned me down outright even though Discover gave me a pretty new card the day before. When I tried to recon via the survey the rep helping me was nice as could be but wasn't even willing to consider me for a secured card so I could get my foot in the door. You may not get luv but I got straight up disdain. Fortunately, for me, Navy Fed is a delight to work with.

Today is 9th Apr and still no response to reconsideration. Ill check account tomorrow to see if any movement if not im going to call on my lunch break tomorrow. Depending on how the convo goes may determine the fate of my card. I dont forsee my income improving over next 2 years so if i cant pull anything on this go around maybe time to go over to Fedpen
