Am I alone in asking this? It's been awhile since I've received a request to apply for credit. Except for the cashier at Walgreens telling me I'm pre-approved, I'm not getting pop ups, emails, or snail mail. The only credit snail mail is for "high" yield savings. All are below or at my current yield. Also the switch banks for various amount of money.
My Fico 8 scores are Exp 834 and Equ 840. Last CC application was January, 2023. Utilization is about 1%. No derogatory.
No, I really don't want a Walgreen CC even though it's going on a year and a half of pre-approval.
I hope this is posted in the correct thread.
@CorpCrMgr1 Did you opt-out of pre-approvals some time ago? May need to opt back in. Just a suggestion.

Never. It was when I received another switch bank offers, which I receive about one a week, that I realized no offers coming my way.
My last CC approval was initiated by me for a BoA card.
Just accepted! You are OVERqualified... 😎😇
😁 Except I don't have 40 CC's like many of the high Fico scorers! 😁
Do you have Chase cards? If there's one you're interested in, then sign up with their credit journey to track your score. At some point, they will present you with some preapproved offers. This way you still can play hard to get by just enrolling. Sit tight and wait for them to make the first move on you, lol.
Not sure how long it takes but with my 740s score it took about 6 months before offers appeared. You likely won't need to wait that long with your scores.

I'm only getting offers these days from Citi and credit unions. Citi even sends me offers for cards I already have though, so somethings a bit off in their marketing department.

I don't get many offers in the mail anymore. I get CreditOne offers here and there and one or two banks that are just advertising with "invited to apply" offers.

I forgot about creditone promos.. I get a $200 check from them just about every 3 months they want me to deposit for a $16 instant interest fee.

Yes, three Chase CC's. The Amazon is my DD. My CU does send me auto loan offers.
