Anyone Knows?

Will my Lowes CC application be affected?? or Will my AC application be affected?

Reason: I decided to install an AC at the house (only has heat) and the proposal comes out to $9k (new furnace, new AC, new ducs in attic, drywall work etc).  The thing is, the bank that will finance it is Sync at 5.99% for 5 years.  I'm already in the process to complete paperwork with my HOA and paid the fees ($425) for fence installation/county plotting etc which I was planning on financing at Lowes (sync) with the 84 months @ 5.99% until paid in full and no penalty for paying it off early.

1. does it make a difference which application i complete first? fence or AC?

2. whichever i apply for first, will i have a problem getting approve for the second app?

3. will Sync approve me for both?

4. is there a way to apply for a sync CC or loan that will allow me to purchase both projects at 5.99%?

Your advice will be much apprciated, REALLY!!! lol, im freaking out!

Notes: I will be making about $800 payments until pay in full ($5k for fence & $9k for AC).  I will also have $2200 in extra checks from work(october and january) + about $2k in taxes that i will be putting towards the $14k ($14k - $4k) = $10k....so about 11 months to a year to pay off.

I guess the variable is which CRAs will be pulled for each application.  Lowes pulled EX for me, so you can check credit pulls database to see which CRA was hit the most in your state.  As for the other, do you know which CRA the bank is using?  If they use EQ and Lowes uses either TU or EX, I would do the apps within a day of each other. I just got a new furnace put in Friday (Thanks Lowes!!) and I plan to have it paid off within 6 months, but the central air won't be upgraded until  the spring because I'll finish out this summer with the one I have then upgrade in the spring when the furnace is paid off.

Re: Anyone Knows?

Just apply for both at the same time... don't let one report the balance before you apply for the 2nd... but once the AC application is approved apply for Lowes and CLI recon right away then it can sit until you are ready to do the other work.

Re: Anyone Knows?

UPDATE:

Just got an email from the Air Conditioning company and my application for the $9k with sync was decline.  Lady suggested to call sync and see what happens using a reference # she game me from the application.  I think this has to do witih the fact that i burned sync (walmart and target) in 2010/oct....wasnt much, maybe about $400 combined.

Now i kinow for a fact that i will be denied for the Lowe's CC (sync) for the fence ($5k)...i would hate to have another HP wasted, I think im going to use my Venture for the $5k fence project and pay it in 5 months...grrr

i will be calling sync in 12 mins, but im reconsidering and thinking not to go forward with the AC $9k installation so i dont have too much debt.

Also, i just got hit with a HP from jcrew and express today when i got them with a SP over a month ago...going to dispute that for sure!!

Re: Anyone Knows?

If apply for lowes online... Sync is a bonkers crazy computer system and 1 decline may not have anything to do with another!

Agree with CA.  I burned GE years ago, but paid off the debt and they have welcomed me back.  Which CRA did the bank pulled? Does your reports say?

Re: Anyone Knows?

Did you settle the baddies with sync from 2010?
I burned them but settled them and got welcome backed in at 1 year from payment
