When you do app sprees what does that mean exactly? Like is it a reason you do a bunch of applications at once? Isn't it the more applications done, the more negative hits your score will take?
Since being approved for my one card (Victoria's Secret) I applied to old navy and got the 7-10 days message. So I take that as a denial. So now I am way too terrified to try again. I assumed because they were the same bank I would be approved
I prefer the term app-o-rama.
One apps several at the same time so that they age together. Or they are taking advantage of a window of opportunity where they see a temporary score increase or otherwise.
Typically one would pick lenders which pull different reports to soften the blow on the inquiries.
Also, apping for too many cards from one lender in any given amount of time can cause them to spit out denials.
