Hey Gang -
Despite my intention to remain in the garden for at least 12 months, I wanted to share my recent Apple Card experience 😋 I had never applied for the Apple Card before, but was in the market for new Apple products (iPhone 13 Pro and/or iPad) and ran the app mainly because I knew it was a SP unless approved (and accepted). Got an acceptance for $2,500 SL @ 21.99% but decided to decline. I have several cards already that have decent CLs and rewards, and with the exception of my AMEX BCP - all recent approvals have been $5K SL or better. Income is $80K+ with FICO numbers around 680/690/675, no derogatory entries except high overall utilization (35%). I figured I wouldn't get much use out of a relatively low limit "niche" card since I don't often purchase Apple products.
Question: If I do change my mind though, how soon can I reapply? And can I reasonablely expect any change (i.e. increase) to my SL on a 2nd app if my DPs are roughly the same? Thanks in advance!
There's no time limit as for when you can reapply. I've heard of people checking the "soft apply" daily. As for the SL you're offered, usually it stays the same unless something changes in your file. But of course you never know for certain.
Good luck with whatever you do!
Since the provided SL is a SP, try every now and then.
Many approvals on this forum have reported getting a higher subsequent SLs but after their profile improved,

That is actually very cool! Wish more banks had this practice.
No when i first applied for the apple card they approved me for $4,400. I declined the offer and lowered my utilization 2 days ago then reapplied and got offered $8,000. it will definitely change depending on if anything on ur report changed to make it better.
Thanks @pinkandgrey Appreciate the info 👍

I thought it was too! That's why I felt ok about declining...and perhaps trying again later
