Approved for Apple Card for $3000 @ 23.99%

Do I need to except today or can I sit on it for a day, here’s why
My highest score Equifax is at 668, Ex 662
I really want to wait as new scores are coming and I really want to see an Eq of 670 and not take the ding before it reports. I know this may sound silly but I’ve worked really hard on my credit and am ecstatic to finally see a 670.
I also have 1 baddie that may ruin the whole thing. (Collection for $350) Trying to get a delete for payment.

They pull TU, so your Equifax score won't help one way or the other, but yes you can decline and wait a bit.
Thanks for the response, I do know Eq won’t help me, it’s just that it hasn’t be that high for sometime now. Isn’t 670 the bare minimum for good credit.
Why not wait it out until you hit 720 and get better terms on the new card?
You can wait it out, but IMHO I dont think a few more points is going to make any difference in their offer.
The reason I want to see my score hit 670, is because I’ve read that 670 is supposed to the magic number to good credit. I just want see it and give myself a pat on the back. I’ve worked really hard to get to this point.

670 isnt the magic number ( if there is such a thing ) Its your total picture that matters te most

You may have seen something like this in your readings, which I pulled from NFCU:
800+ | Exceptional |
740-799 | Very Good |
670-739 | Good |
580-669 | Fair |
<580 | Poor |
A FICO score of 670 bumps you out of the fair range into the start of the good range. So absolutely pat yourself on the back for working hard to get to that point.
And as your scores and overall credit profile continue to increase, more doors will open to prime cards, lower APR, higher SLs.
We all have a FICO score in mind we want to reach. You’ll notice in my tag line my 2020 goal is the 800 club. That’s my magic number. There’s no rhyme or reason since IMO 800 will open no more doors than the scores I already have, but it’s my own personal goal I have set.
Continue your journey. You’re on the right track.

Thank you, thats exactly what I meant. I’m going to wait until Eq reports and see it with my own two eyes, then I’ll take Apple up on their offer. Baby Steps.

They hard pulled both TU and EQ for me.
