I was just denied my third attempt at a cli on my Apple card, at the 91 day mark. I've put a very high amount of usage on it $2000 - $3000 of spend per month on a $3000 cl, and PIF each month. My TU score was 713 when I got approved for the card and was 722 at the time of my last CLI request. The reason given for the denial was your account is currently too new. I'm going to fall back now and not do another request for 3 months...or when a new MacBook Pro is released... whichever comes first.
I also will be falling back on my spend on the Apple Card, as I am now focussing on directing most of my spend to my new jetBlue Card Plus to get the SUB.
Sorry to hear about the denial.
How long have you had the card?

91 days.
Sorry the CLI wasn't approved. You appeared to have done some good things towards increasing your chances in putting spend through the card. Obviously their version of "new" still applies to your account, unfortunately. Although sometimes denial reasons can be a bit flakey. Don't take it personal though. Hopefully next time around you'll get a better outcome!

Sorry about the denial! The CLI approvals are very much profile specific. It took 16 months for my first. Scores consistently over 760 and never more than 3% aggregate utilization.
Have you recently opened other cards? Besides Apple and JB. Some DP suggest Apple might not like recent competition.
Sorry for your CLI denial. I had the same issue, I've started with a 1200sl and got the message your account is too recent as well. Is asking for a CLI (and not getting one) reset the 3 months timer or no?

The JB is the only card I've opened since getting the Apple Card.

Sorry to hear. How long had you had the card when you got denied? I've heard some suggest that it doesn't reset, but I'm still going to wait 3 months anyway and not obsess over it. After all, I don't really NEED the cli until I make an Apple purchase sometime later this year.
It did not reset the clock for me. I was denied cli when I had the card about 5 months. I put more spend on it and asked for another cli two months later and got a nice increase
So, you tried 3x since 10/1?
Based on DPs, and folks who you've asked in the past, it would be unlikely they'd warm up for a CLI after 90 days, provided overall profile meets the CLI criteria.
On the upside, it was SP since CLIs with Best Buy would be HP.
