No success story here. They had issues verifying 6 times myself. I provided my ID in 6 different types of lighting in 6 different locations, made sure there was no glare, and even typed out my info as it's listed on my state ID just to be sure. No dice.

And their customer service was a joke. Lots of, "Ummm....*dead silence*....ummm....*rinse/repeat*. And eventually giving the same suggestions I found online. They were absolutely no help.

I think the last/final time I was denied for a different reason, but the the email I received said they couldn't verify my information.

I gave up.

You could try poking around in the Wallet app and see if you have option to verify your identity for the Cash card…

I just verified my ID super easily for the Apple Cash card. If this works....😂😂

That worked for me.

After my most recent "you have been recently late" denial (which hasn't happened since 2016) I was put in the PTAC program last month.

Someone suggested the SCT the other day so I tried it... I had been planning on purchasing a $600 iPad for the girl but put a $1900 iPad Pro in the cart... and they approved me for a $1500 SL.

I'm in the door and that's all I care about... I swapped the $600 iPad to the cart and bought it 12 months 0%.

When my reports go clean later this year I'll go after a CLI but for now I'm good.

I didn't see the verify my ID stuff in the apple cash card thing....but, I did make sure the address was right.    It was listed, just had to choose between that one and another address for some reason.  I am still waiting on this latest "review"  It has been since Friday, so lets see whats up.  Thanks again everyone.

No great end of story(yet). I'll need to wait a bit since the denial is due to attempts and inability to verify identity. I don't plan on buying any new products to try the SCT, so I'll just give it some time.

@wxman2021 what helped me is make sure your drivers license is aganist a really REALLY DARK background

@wxman2021  Online on your PC. Be modest with the items you put in the cart. Like $1,000 give or take. I didn't have to purchase the items at the time (03/2022), but that may have changed. However, you can modify the order to something less expensive after approval so I have heard on the forum.

Tried the SCT trick online and immediately went to you have applied too many times and we can't verify your identity.  I put in a MBA ($1k) in the cart.  I am going to give it like 30 days and then reapply vis the SCT way.  See if that changes.  Thanks yall!
